Career & Professional Development offers year-round networking events including career fairs and alumni events to connect students to jobs. We also support job searches for on-campus employment through our online job database, Handshake.
Work During School
Did you know your student can gain real-world experience right here on campus? Through the Federal Work Study program, awarded through the Financial Aid Office based on financial need, students can secure an on-campus job to help pay for educational expenses (including tuition) and gain valuable work experience. Financial need is based on information supplied on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Priority is given to those who file their FASFA by March 1; when all money has been awarded, no more funds are available for the year. Students do not need a work-study award to work on campus. Opportunities are posted on Handshake.
